good beginer yoga dvd 3 out of 5

It was a little hard to do some of the poses and keep the ball stable. I am a beginer yoga practicer. Maybe it will get easier with muscle tone up. It will not be my first choice for a workout.


Poor DVD Quality 2 out of 5

I had a hard time getting it to play. My DVD player kept kicking it out with an error message. Finally played after 5 or 6 times of trying, then when it did play, the picture quality was very bad. My DVD player plays other DVD's just fine, so it's not the player.


Decent, but you might as well do yoga without the ball 4 out of 5

I like the host, and since I only paid $5 for the DVD, I feel like it's an overall decent value. Still, I've taken yoga classes before and feel that, at least with this DVD, you end up relying too much on the ball for support and therefore don't get as good of a workout. A regular yoga DVD (minus the ball) would be a better choice.

Who came up with this concept? It had to have been someone studying marketing strategy and not someone who is a yogi or a fan of the fitness ball. I felt awkward during this workout. It did not make me burn calories (unless you count the giggles as I rolled around).

I like Sara Ivanhoe because she is not extreme new age, but she gives a very good workout in this 45 min. I also have her Yoga in 20 min a day which are very good too. I do recommend buying these.
