My husband and I purchased it to have a weighted ball for abdominal exercises and it does the trick but it is small! We puchased a larger weighted ball!

This is the best size ball for situps. I recommend this ball and 1 size bigger, the 8 for stretching. Great buy.
Smaller than Danskin 8# ball 5 out of 5
This ball was the same texture (smooth) as the Danskin DA-2638R 8 lb. Weighted Toning Ball but doesn't come with DVD video like Danskin includes. Feels like it has a sack of sand inside (typical to these types).
I like the fact that it was smaller in diameter than other 8# balls which made it easier to hold. Also unexpectedly came with the air needle in case you needed to firm up the ball.
Recommended if you don't need the DVD.

Bought this for someone else (my brother) who was looking to replace another fitness ball. Seems to like it and uses it to work out with, no complaints.
