Summary: Bad Product!
Comment: I think some capsules leak and tainted the other good ones.
The container is really not food grade and expensive too!
The one's from Ocean Labs is much much better.

Comment: Since I don't eat enough fish in my diet, I opted to resort to fish oil as a supplement. Nature Made is a company that consistently offers good products, but sometimes the brand name drives the price up.

Summary: Become heart healthy the natural, Nature Made way
Comment: I've been using fish oil for many years, but never tried Nature Made until last year. The statement they make on that their "supply comes from deep ocean waters" as opposed to "farm raised fish" was of high interest. I've heard some horror stories about farm raised fish and decided I'd like to stay clear of any pollutants.
The bottle states that it contains fish (Anchovy, Sardine) and soy. Other ingredients are gelatin (non-bovine), glycerin, water, tocopharol. A couple other items of interest for some people are that the product contains no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, yeast, starch or gluten.
Every now and then I go to the Nature Made site for a little reading and to enter my Wellness Rewards Points to get a higher valued coupon to redeem now and then. One other factor to note for those with younger children, is that the cap on this bottle is not childproof. As always, it is a must to consult your physician when using any supplements.

Summary: One Less Trip to The Drug Store
Comment: I started buying my vitamins online from Amazon. I did this so I did not have to drive in to the grocery or drug store.
Pros: No Driving, Same Vitamins I always buy.
Cons: Higher Quantities, Bigger Bottle, Must Plan Ahead
Fish Oil is one of those questionable supplements. I like to take fish oil because I don't think there is enough healthy oils in the typical western diet. I also like fish oil because I feel healthier when I take it.
My only concern is that fish sometimes have mercury. Does the fish oil have a lot of mercury?
I guess if you want more information about the positives and negatives of fish oil, you should google it. Your mileage may vary.

Summary: Heathy Blood Vessels
Comment: I've been taking Nature Made Omega-3 for years. At my recent check-up, my MD told me that my blood vessels and arteries where pliable and very healthy. I'm a 59 year old and that was good news. She said to continue taking the Omega-3. I purchased the 1,200 mg to boost the benefits.
