Summary: Best Long Wearing Liner on the Market
Comment: I got my makeup done at a Bobbi Brown counter in New Orleans before a rainy night on Bourbon Street. When I got back to my hotel, my liner looked as good as it did when it was applied. This stuff will not run or fade away like most liners do. In fact, a makeup remover like Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover - 5.5 oz is really the only effective way to remove it. My only complaint is that the liner is difficult to blend due to its staying power.
If you're looking for a smoky effect, it looks nice layered with a powder shadow over it. These can be a little strong for daytime if you're heavy-handed, so use caution. A little goes a long way. An angled brush from MAC is my tool of choice to apply it. Always tighten the cap when not in use (in fact, I re-cap it unless I'm dipping my brush in it) because it has a tendency to dry.
MAC has a line of gel eyeliners that are comparable, they are smoother to blend but lack the staying power of Bobbi Brown.

Summary: Great to use with fine, angled liner brush
Comment: I'm always trying new eyeliner products. This one can be quite heavy and a challenge to apply unless you have the correct brush. I have the angled fine liner from Sephora, and that works quite nicely. With this brush it goes on easily and stays and stays and stays throughout the day. I just use warm water and facial cleanser to remove my eye makeup. Makeup remover would be fine too.

Comment: Works as advertised. Stays put - does not flake. Colors are amazing - you will want more than one color.
You will need make-up remover to get it off - but all good gel eyeliners require this. Bobbi Brown also makes one that is gentle, refreshing and works well.

Summary: Best stay-on eyeliner
Comment: I bought this eyeliner a few years ago and loved it! After I had used it up (it lasts about a year!) I needed to buy a new waterproof eyeliner. I was hesitant to buy this one again because it's kind of expensive. Since I teach aerobic classes AND wear contacts, it's very important to me to use an eyeliner that doesn't run with sweat, or without irritating my contacts. So of course I tried other less expensive brands that say they are waterproof, but they just didn't work as well as this Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner. You really need to buy the thin brush that goes with it, but the two together make a perfect match for applying thin or thick eyeliner to your eyes! It stays on, and comes off nice and clean when you're ready to wash it off! LOVE this product!
