Average Customer Rating: 4.0 / 5.0 Total Number of Reviews: 223 Editorial Review: Cruzer Micro is an incredibly small, portable, and smart USB flash drive. The small, compact size fits easily on any keychain. The retractable USB connector design eliminates the need for caps and protects the connector.
Sandisk dumped U3 1 out of 5
I recently purchased a U3 device. I added a few core apps that I thought would be useful and decided to add some more... WRONG! Sandisk has discontinued U3, there is no support, no software, no options. Sandisk has flipped any users the bird and just killed the sites. No warnings, no archiving for current users, just dead links.
Thanks for nothing. DO NOT PAY EXTRA for U3! The only option is to uninstall U3 and install PortableApps from [...]. Rumor is it's a better product anyway. Lightweight, easy to use 5 out of 5
This is a good flash drive. It is easy to use, and comes with a ring that makes it easy to attach to a key chain or similar. I like that it does not have a separate cap (the USB connection retracts) so I do not have to worry about losing or forgetting my cap (a problem with my previous flash drive). Good value for the price. Great product at a great price 5 out of 5
I received what I wanted at a great price. no problems what so ever. I will be buying more from this vendor. Sandisk Cruzer Flash drive 4 out of 5
Everything is good about this sliding idea except I would like a locking pin or even just more friction on the sliding piece. It's a little loose, I think. Reliable for 3 years and counting, still looks great 5 out of 5
I got this flash drive in the summer of 2007 (4 GB was really hot stuff back then!) and I've never had any problems with it. I like that it's small, has a place for a key ring, the USB connector retracts so it won't get damaged, and the black color makes it look very sharp. The orange indicator light is very bright and a little obnoxious, but I love everything else about this drive. I've used it in my computer, friends' computers, computer labs, and more from Windows XP to 7, and have always been able to read it. Just remove the annoying U3 software (it didn't put up much of a fight, if I remember correctly) and storing and transporting your files is fast and easy.
