Great Chair for the money 5 out of 5
I bought the chair because I had a bad back problem. It has been very helpful.I would recomend it. Fantastic Bargain 5 out of 5
I have pondered using an ergonomic chair for computer work and decided to take a chance after trying one at a local furniture store. I did not like the price and the condition and went home to search Amazon for the item. This chair caught my eye and I liked the write ups. The big plus was that the price was right.
The chair was easy to assemble and within a half-hour, I was using it. The best part of the chair is the reclining back that has stops along the way that allow you to relax your back when your shins get tired.
This is a great ergonomic chair and I would rank it above the more expensive ones solely on the reclining back. not what I was hoping for 2 out of 5
I was hoping for back relief...it is an extra option, but far from an end to back pain while sitting. I find it use it most in the reclined position to take a break from sitting.
Also I think the knees are bent a little too much...and start to cut off circulation if you sit too long. Keep looking, this chair is not the best 2 out of 5
I recently ordered this chair to replace my previous kneeling chair (which had lost a wheel). I wish I had looked closer before ordering. There are a couple of problems with this chair as I see it:
+ The chair portion (that your butt sits on) is not parallel enough to the ground. Instead it slants forward, making you feel as though you're constantly falling out of it. This causes you to put more weight and strain on your shins/knees that is necessary.
+ The distance between the knee brace/rest and the chair portion is too small for taller people. This causes further added pressure to your shins/knees.
+ The chair itself sits too low to the ground. My previous kneeling chair was higher off the ground and worked much better for my computer desk. This one is adjustable, but raising it higher just makes the first issue I mentioned much worse. Good chair, but not a miracle 4 out of 5
I bought this chair because I have a tendency to slouch and wanted to improve my sitting posture at work. This chair really does aid that, but it still takes a little attention. I can still slouch in this one. Also, something to consider is that chair tends to put a lot of pressure on your knees and/or shins. It was solid and fairly easy to put together (though there are different size screws that look like each other, so pay close attention to the directions). It has an adjustment feature which seems to me to be a really critical part of finding a comfortable position. Too high and there is a lot of pressure on your knees, too low and it's almost like a regular chair. Being able to adjust it made it much more pleasant to use.
