Editorial Review: Glutathione is a tripeptide, consisting of the three amino acids, cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Glutathione is found and manufactured in ever cell in the body, but is found in highest concentrations in the heart, muscle tissue and the liver. Glutathione is critical for healthy immune system functions and necessary for various liver detoxification processes. Glutathione also acts as an antioxidant that acts to prevent oxidative stress in most cells and help to trap free radicals that can damage DNA and RNA. Milk Thistle Extract and Alpha Lipoic Acid are included to enhance Glutathiones liver supporting properties.

Reservations about nebulizing 5 out of 5
I'm a firm believer in the use of glutathione for better health, and this is a fantastically good bargain (it's currently marked down to $19.75 as I write this). For those of you taking glutathione orally, I suggest stocking up at this price! On the other hand, I nebulize glutathione for my emphysema. Because it's normally so expensive, I'm always shopping for a good bargain. But I'm thrown off a bit by the fact that NOW has added milk thistle extract and alpha lipoic acid to this product. I'm extremely reluctant to inhale those into my lungs without some assurance that it's safe to do so. I've seen nothing in the pulmonary literature about nebulizing and inhaling those products. In short, I really wish NOW had seen fit to market glutathione as a pure product, or at least offer that as an additional product option.
If there are any others out there who have nebulized this product, I'd certainly be interested in hearing from you!

Glutathione helps a lot with my immune system, my hair, and my skin especially. It also helps lighten up my skin, one of the side effects. For best results, take with Calcium w/ rose hips. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. GNC charges at least twice the price at Amazon. a total rip.

I don't notice too much of the lightening thing, but it's suppose to be good for you so I take it in the morning with my daily and a vit c supplement. I normally avoid the sun, but when I can't it gets me a peace of mind that if my sunscreen fails that this might slow down the tanning process.
