The Bosu really gives you a workout if you try the video with it. I have back problems so my balance is not the greatest--got this product because it was similiar to some exercises I was doing in physical therapy.

After reading other reviews I was prepared to struggle with assembly of the support bar. I had no trouble, all of the parts lined up and assembly went smoothly. I purchased the Bosu Balance Trainer because I used it while in physical therapy, & found it challlenging. Now that I've completed therapy I wanted to maintain my strength. I purchased this Bosu trainer as the "deal of the day" and was thrilled when I received it! Not only did I get free shipping that day but I saved almost $100 by purchasing this through Amazon vs. regular retail store. I had been shopping for a long time for one, even tried E-bay and never was even close to this amazing deal. It is the brand named BOSU ball, easy to put together, and comes with a year manufacturer warranty. The DVD it comes with is very boring, but there are so many free video's out there on the internet. I am very impressed with the quality and value of this purchase.
