I've been burnt before by purchasing refilled cartridges; they leaked and smeared the printed output. The new Brother cartridge does the job with no leaks and no smears.

This is a quality print catridge for the money. IF you find yourself saving 20% off store discount prices and it is still the right product (name brand and all), then you would be a fool not to purchase, if you need it. It works without problem and works as described.

I tried a couple other toner replacements that were not from Brother
and was not happy with them. One of them would not snap into the unit
correctly and the print quality was poor. The other one ran out of
toner way too fast. So I decided I should actually buy an actual
Brother replacement cartridge. Looked around and Amazon had the
best price so I ordered it. It fits in the unit perfectly and the
print quality if very good. I have printed over 1200 pages and have
had no problems.
