My Windows had crashed so I had to back up my data via Linux. I was looking for a product with enough space to back up all my data on to and I have stumbled upon that item. It's both cheap and it works great. Simply plug and play. I had a couple of problems though while backing up my data. It was showing an error message when I was trying to copy some Windows registry files....that was weird....but I didn't need them anyways, I have restored my PC to its original manufacturing condition,and then copy & pasted all of my data back to my repaired PC from that external hard drive. It took me 5 hours to get it all done (copy & paste). It's still a Great product! Worth the price! And the shipment came relatively fast, all packed well, and all good. Thanks.

I've been using this drive for more than a month now. It's easy to use, lightweight and sleek. It doesn't need separate power connection and you just need to connect it a USB drive on your computer to get it working. I highly recommend this drive.
Careful about the "Frequently Bought Together" suggestion 5 out of 5
I went on to the Case Logic site and noticed that the "Frequently Bought Together" Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case (Black), does not go with the "Western Digital WD Elements 320 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive WDBAAR3200ABK-NESN (Black)". I wish Amazon was a bit better about playing that frequently bought together game with us. Instead Case Logic recommends the "Portable Hard Drive Case, VHS-101". Also, As of today on the Case Logic site you can buy it for $9.99 with free shipping. This is about $2.50 less than Amazon.
WD seems to make good, trustworthy hard drives 5 out of 5
I have owned a WD My Book 250GB. It's working flawlessly, never had a problem under constant use from my brother for over 2 years (He always keeps it plugged into the computer). I decided that I needed an external hard drive of my own and purchased the WD Elements 320GB - Nice and compact, reasonably fast - awesome!
