Very High Quality 5 out of 5
If you're the type of individual that appreciates a high quality, well designed product on your desk, this is the right calculator. It's very solid, the materials are very nice, and the design is clean. The back of the calculator is matte finished anodized aluminum, similar to the back of the original iPhone. This contrasts nicely to the high gloss surface of the keys that have a subtle concave detail molded into them on the numeric keys.
Unlike the previous review, I like the size at roughly 3.7 x 6.2 inches because the individual keys are easy to use and the display is easy to read.
I purchased the white one originally for my home office but I'm going to go with the black one for the spot next to the Tizio lamp on my desk at work
Right Idea, But Wrong Size and Finish 1 out of 5
It is a great idea for Canon to come out with a well designed calculator because in this age of the computer there are many tasks best done with the humble claculator. However this suffers from a couple of significant flaws. It is much too large. The highly reflective finish is awful to use because of the glare. I much prefer the 25 year old Braun ET-66 Calculator. It has the optimal form factor and is very user friendly which are the shortcomings of this poorly designed product by Canon.
